VSI offers a complete line of Aqua Safe Aerobic Treatment Units (A.T.U) by Ecological Tanks Incorperated. Aqua Safe® was tested according to requirements listed in A.N.S.I./N.S.F. Standard #40 and is listed by NSF as meeting or exceeding Class 1 effluent requirements. The results conducted by Baylor University's Department of Environmental Studies in accordance with A.N.S.I./N.S.F. Standard 40 requirements showed the Aqua Safe wastewater treatment plant to have a 30-day effluent average of:
                                                 2.37        mg/l.      CBOD5
                                                 2.11        mg/.       TSS
                                       with a 52% reduction in Total Nitrogen

The Aqua Safe A.T.U. is also listed under the A.N.S.I./N.S.F. Nitrogen Reduction Standard 245 and is currently listed by the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) under the “Testing Ongoing” status for GMP# 147.

The Aqua Safe brand of ATU’s allows for easy installation and continued maintenance. All Models include a 2yr Operation & Maintenance agreement. Components come to the jobsite as a self-contained package. So start-up for the Aqua Safe ATU is easy. Simply connect the power supply to the control panel mounted on top of the ATU…. Then Just Turn It On. That’s It!

All components and controls come set according to final design specifications.
