UV Turtle (pdf/dwg)

The UV Turtle is a Disinfection device used primarily for discharging systems. It consists of a 100-gallon fiberglass tank with The "UV Disinfector" plumbed inside. Effluent gravity falls through the "UV Disinfector" assembly and into the tank, where it is aerated with a fine bubble diffuser bar and a HiBlow compressor (1.25 cfs) for post-aeration. The ballast for the UV Bulb is located inside of the weather-proof control panel. The control panel alarms when the bulb becomes weak, preventing untreated effluent from being discharged during bulb replacement.
